What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. We also store the Journal entries, Hear reflections, lesson conversations, completed days, feedback, and prayer requests you choose to submit. We do not collect your birthdate.
How we use it
We use account information to sign you in and return your saved journey. When you request a password reset, our email delivery provider receives your email address only to deliver that requested message. Your writing may be sent to OpenAI only when you request a personalized meditation, lesson conversation, or similar AI-assisted feature. We do not sell your personal information.
Site activity
We record limited activity such as pages opened, account creation, completed lessons, downloads, subscription attempts, and technical errors. We use this information to understand the reader flow and repair problems. We do not record Journal or Reflection text as analytics, and password-reset tokens are removed from recorded page addresses.
Payments
Stripe processes payments and receives the payment information you provide at checkout. Welcome to the Known does not store your full card number.
Your choices
You may leave optional fields blank, avoid AI-assisted features, sign out, or permanently delete your account and saved writing from the Account page. Prayer requests are separate from reader accounts; use Reader Feedback to request removal.
Safety
This service is not an emergency, medical, mental-health, or crisis service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Questions
Use the Reader Feedback page for privacy questions or requests.
